Yeah, I did it, Harbor Freight 6" rubber strap wrench, $4.99 and you get 2. I think I actually hurt myself getting that **** off....Hammer and punch just chiseled pieces off. There was a piece of crud in the impeller, locking the pump up. Found it when I backflushed the pump. I got a new sock while I was in there. Never again, I hope. $179 for a new pump, F that!
