68 BARRACUDA DELUXE INTERIOR bucket seat backs question

does anyone here have a 68 barracuda with deluxe int? my question is the seat backs .. they are carpeted the same color as the actual vehicle carpet..however the vinyl on the edge's is what i need to know the correct color of....my car has white/blue deluxe int and so the carpet is blue as is the seat back carpet..with my seats being white ...shouldn't the vinyl around the seat back blue carpet be white also? i never had my originals and have never seen another deluxe int 68 with orig seat backs...so should the vinyl be white to match my white seats or blue to match the carpeting it borders? i think it should be white... any ideas? thanks

I have the original deluxe interior in my 68. Not that I will be much help.....

My interior is black and both the carpet and the edging are black.

That is a good question about white. I know all other color delux seat backs are same color rug with vlnyl piping. Never seen white rug. If I had to guess the back is vinyl on the white seats. Hopefully somebody knows for sure.
