I went to the State Treasurers website and found 240 bucks owed me! Some was from a storage unit deposit from ten years back, another was from stock dividends, and another was from State Tax refund from 10 years ago. This will buy me a nice set of aluminum motorcycle ramps for my trailer and cover most all parts used as I rebuild it.

Cool stuff, it wouldn't hurt to check out your state and see you have any money laying around.

My wife found $700.00 in the inner jacket pocket of one of my suits just before dropping it off at the cleaners! I haven't worn the suit in a few years, and she was having it laundered prior to giving it away. I can't remember putting that money there, but it is where I would have kept it while wearing the suit. lol

This happened just this past Monday.

Congrats Joe! Yes it is worth looking into. My sister did some checking and discovered my Dad had stock from a company he sold back in the '60's, it was a tidy sum, a result of his hard work years ago that he can enjoy now.
 
I got nothing comin' from anyone. I suppose I could ask my wife for half of the money, though.
 
I,m afraid to look ,with my luck ,I would owe them and then they would know where to find me.!!!

I went on the site because my sister sent me an email about it. Come to find out, a company I worked for back in the early 80's into the early 90's owes me over 14K in money they took out for stock purchases. What a windfall for Grace and me, I've started the proceeding to get the money yesterday.

well, I keep getting emails saying foreign banks have hundreds of thousands of dollars waiting in escrow. Once they get that bank info I sent them I got ya'll beat by a large amount.*




* before some gullible person responds, yes, I'm kidding:D
 
Billy tried to look up his claim and Louisiana had no record of it although his name and address showed up in the results.
