I have done a fairly decent amount of bodywork in the past with good results using Bondo for small areas. I know good body work is mostly all in the work.
I was wondering if you guys have used any other brand of "Bondo" and thought it lasted longer, or was easier to use etc. etc.??? One local Napa carries a great selection of body supplies, anybody had good results with "Napa" bondo?

Evercoat rage or rage gold is what I use. Bondo lasting long has nothing to do with the brand it has to do with the proper prep work. If you have to cake it on then you are not doing it properly. There are other brands through autobody tool mart that are reasonably priced that I'm sure work just as well. It's all based on how easy it sands and how resilient to pin holes it is. Good luck.

I've used the NAPA body filler and had really good success with it. I'm amateur at best and learned a long time ago that I need to do as much metal work as possible and then use the filler to finish off an already "close" repair. I have also used their base coat/clear coat paints and primers and have been very pleased with the results. I live in a small town and NAPA is just handy.

Im an autobody tech, bondo isnt bad stuff. Ive use napa's brand and i have to say its the worst brand that ive used, and its more expensive than bondo. in the shops that Ive worked in they all used 3m's platinum body filler. It spreads really nice and sands easily without clogging up the sandpaper. Dont mix it too rich or too thin, we mix the hardener 2% by weight.
