new look for the Dart Sport

-
Dang Bill that looks great. Very nice bodywork there. Cant wait to see it painted up and installed
But now I wanna change my plans from a dual snorkel to a six pack hood again...Thanks...lol

have decided to go with the Stinger yellow that is on the 2012 Challengers. have to stay with a Mopar color. going to take the hood into work tomorrow and shoot the underneath of the hood yellow so we can put the fat mat on and the hood insulation. will post a pic sometime this weekend with it on the car.

well, here is the underside of the hood painted what is to be body color and the hood scoop on. how many shades of primer do they make. I believe we have them all. It will do till it gets painted this winter. after the car shows end, this puppy will be dismantled, restored and painted like the Duster. Drivetrain is coming back out, hopefully the 4 speed installed. I will need some help from you guys on that.

that color is going to look awesome, Bill (as does the scoop).
just wondering if you guys had any concerns about the hood twisting while opening and closing with the bracing cut like that (I usually just see holes cut out around the braces- this will allow a lot more air obviously).

I thought the same thing when I cut it out. I first was going to weld some plate for braces but the spray bondo we put on the top strengthened it. There is NO twist at all on the hood. It is solid.

he had an offer to sell it today at the car show. he declined. he did a great job on it.
