First A body and classic car in general. Most of my other toys have been moremodern, so this has been a lot of funfor me so far. Located in CentralMass. 74 Dart Swinger. Straight Six, 3 speed auto, drum brakes allaround. I don’t even know what rear endI have yet. I am in the process rightnow of restoring the interior and going from green to black which I’ll documentin a separate thread, but here are a couple of pics for now.
This is how she sat on the side of the street with the $2,000 For Sale sign on it.

I will have a restoration of the interior up soon in the proper section. Feel free to ask questions, I will have a few myself to help me with my first classic.

Good looking car! Fellow newby to A bodies here myself and just picked up a '74 Swinger myself.
 
Welcome to the site . I'm kinda new here to . It's nice to see someone else from Mass here . I'm down here on the south shore .
 
Welcome looks like a hell of a deal for $2000. I kinda like the green that's on it.
 
Welcome from western ma. It's a slant six, is that really a v6 emblem I see on the trunk. That's a might clean looking dart!!! :) ..... Our dart has the same broken tail light lens... lol
 
thanks for the replies. I live in Fitchburg, but make it down to Gillette stadium for some shows, usually with the other vehicles, and stick around mostly local. Yes someone put a V6 badge on there, but that has since been removed. Car was actually purchased for $1,700. I've gotten pretty far in the restoration and will have a nice thread regarding it. Interior has been the focus.
I know I have the 225 slant, but haven't crawled under too much, just enough to notice the small tranny leak. I will be taking care of mechanicals over the winter, then the paintowork, with a bit of a twist.
I might post the thread about the resoration tonight, I have lots of photos of the process so far.
