Ok. What's the trick to adjusting a hood on a 67 dart , I adjust the front and the back is wrong, I adjust the back and the front is wrong and forget about side to side, any help would be great !

My friend it can be time consuming,
1. Did you remove the fenders.
2. Dd you remove hinges or lossen boltd in hinges
3. Is this after a restore

Have you had the fenders off too?

You can't move the cowl so start by getting an acceptable gap there. Remember the factory gaps were crap, you aren't dealing with a new Lexus here.

Wide and mostly even is the best you can hope for normally.

Perfect gaps require substantial work including adding and removing metal from panel edges on these old things.

I did remove the fenders ,they seem to alighn to the cowl and doors pretty nice. I did remove the hinges and it is after a restore, I marked every thing I could . Thanks for your help.

As long as your rear quarters are in the correct position you start with the rear door gap and go forward and obviously the cowl is also fixed so check that gap. Yes, it will take time going back and forth to find a happy medium to for all the gaps.
