Thinking on swapping out he Modman to a short runner drag pak intake next year.:sign7:

Wondering if my 800 Thunder will still deliver or if I need to consider something bigger?

Stick is only a mild crower grind 218@.50 / .565 on the intake...... heads untouched.

Thoughts?:-k

Good question, good to see you back!. What intake,XV single plane.? Those heads flow....
E.T.C: Personal experience, from Crower. They pull,in mid range and top end.,espcially on 110 l/c and wider....

That carb should be plenty IMO. I would rather be stuck tuning a Holley though rather than an Eddy carb.

Modman intake..but thinking of going to a drag pak short runner.

Got the carb tuned no problem....just not sure if the longer runners on the DP intake will require more carb than whats already fitted...

Hey Mal,

Hope your well.

If it were me i would be looking at 2 x 600/625 cater afbs. Id be looking for the pre federal mogul carbs. The 600/625's will give you better fuel distribution and improve VE when you need it with the cubes your running.

Let me know how you go anyway

Hysteric

Better yet,

I would get Damon at Diamond Back Engines do you a set of carbs(eddie) for your combo. He does them for the NSS cars so he obviously knows what hes doing.

Interesting approach:-k......but that would mean no drag pak intake of course....
