look in the trunk... they undercoated over rust. you can see it all around the drivers side wheel well where it meets the hump. And every CL ad says Runs perfect with no rust...
 
It is so ugly that it is cool...is it worth buying...not sure about the price...it seems high..
 
Oh yeah i was thinking the outside.
I see in the trunk where you are talking about it does look like they painted over some surface rust in the trunk to prevent it from getting worst.

painting over rust does nothing more than hide it... :wack:
 
My brother has a 1963 880 more door that he picked up for $800. Drove it home. Needs a repaint and some interior work but otherwise complete and solid! Drives like a dream! Parts are not easy to find for it though!
