Hi, I am new to this forum. My name is Pete, I own and operate Back to the Future Upholstery in Brandon,MN. I have a customers car in the shop which I am installing a headliner. The headliner came from PUI. It has sail panels but they don't appear to fit the car. Does anybody know if this car had sail panels or does the headliner just extend all the way down. Thanks,
 
My headliner was gone in mine when purchased. I bought the sail panels but upon installing the headliner I ended up omitting them as they fit like crap. The sails can be made tight without them and look perfectly fine.
 
I put it in today without the sail panels. It looks fine. I was just wondering why they sent out the panels since they don't fit and you don't need them. The customer should be more than happy. This car is a true bastard. '69 roof/chassis, '67 rear fenders, '68 fronts, I'm not sure what the hood is off and the nose is not a '69. Needless to say nothing fits right. Oh well..... it's not mine!
