Good afternoon everyone,
Well I finished restoring my dash yesterday and will be installing back into the car tonight. Worked out perfect as I ran the new 10ga wires to improve the charging system per the Mopar Action artilce a few years back bypassing the firewall connectionas all together. Anyways when I got the car on the road a few years back i did a quick paint job on just the chromed plastic portio of the dash. From day one i never liked how it turned out. This time around I purchased some dash inserts from DMT (Detroit Muscle Technologies) and I am very impressed with the quality of these pieces. Carbon fiber for the top portion and smooth black for the bottom. I removed the old wood grain pieces which are still in good shape and repainted everything. Then with some simple silicon i installed the new inserts.....

Following are a few pictures of how it turned out. Let me know what you think...

FYI... i opted to go with a more even metallic paint instead of trying to go chrome. The spray paint chrome is a bit to blotchy for me.
