273 mild build cam

Yup. We've all been there at one point, but the thing is to listen and learn. I just don't think there are some people with the ability.

And IQ52 was born knowin everything already. lol

No offense taken, but how the heck did I get in here? My Pop was the guy who graphed the cams he ran, especially during his NASCAR years.

Have you ever noticed that I don't recommend a specific camshaft to anyone? And I design all the cams for the engines we build!

I do say, "Hey, I ran this cam and it performed like this." Like the XE285HL we ran in Pop's 440.

I've found that if you recommend a cam on the stated build, they will change the build and claim the cam was no good.

When we ran the 509 in the low compression build many thought it was a recommendation of the 509. Nope, it just happened to be laying on the shelf so we plunked it it and tried it. I originally bought the 509 for $50 because it came with hydraulic lifters and I needed hydraulic lifters, I didn't even want a 509 cam.

Sorry you get in hot water sometimes Rob. Remember though, I still love you. It was pleasure meeting you and G.M. at the NATS.
