Hello, and thanks for allowing me to join this forum! My name is Joe Hinds, and I am the owner of Bulldawg Musclecars, Inc., a small hot rod shop in Cartersville, GA. I am also a part-time author, working on my second book for CarTech/SA Designs on swapping Gen3 Hemi engines into older cars, with a concentration on A, B, and E-bodies. We are installing a 6.1 Hemi into a '73 Duster, step-by-step, in the book, as well as covering several other swaps.

If anyone here owns a vehicle with a swapped-in Gen3 Hemi (A body or otherwise...it doesn't even have to be a Mopar), and would like to have it in the book, please PM me. It doesn't have to be a show car (I prefer drivers), or even completed.

I hope to make this book a reference that people will use for many years to come, and that it will encourage more people to go ahead with these swaps, and also encourage manufacturers to give the Gen3 the attention it deserves. Thanks!

Awesome. Welcome aboard. I am in Jones County about 20 miles NE of Macon. I've been up and around that way a good bit fetchin parts for this and that.

Welcome to FABO!!

I moved from Marietta to Virginia Beach 3 years ago...looking to move back. Are you hiring??

Welcome Joe, and good luck that sounds like a great idea. I like that part of the area. I have friends in Blue Ridge and Blairsville.

Welcome, and good to see another Georgia boy :) I'm just a littly ways up the road from you, a little north of Rome.

Welcome,to FABO...The late model Hemi section here ,has been growing.

Welcome aboard Joe, from down below Macon...

Dont every use Bulldawg, for tens of thousands I have a bucket of bolts that need a complete do over. I have a viper powered cuda that was a complete mess and needs to be redone because Joe's backyard mechanics suck. They used my car as a parts car while it was there many parts missing. Car was supposed to be running, when it got to NY wires under the dash were clipped, brakes leaked, fuel lines leaked, the rims and tires combo don't even fit car and hit fenders and won't turn, fit and finish looked like a 5 yr old bolted the fenders on. Turn out its hard to file suit cause this crook keeps changing his LLC. I was billed for hundreds of hours of work that wasn't done. Seems it is a pattern with this crook.

Wish I could add pictures because I had a $10k paint job that was scratched all to hell and needs to be redone because his **** mechanics don't use caution. What else, new rack needs replaced because the gears are messed cause they didn't use fluid, vintage air parts missing and doesn't work. Pretty much the whole car needs redone. If you have a car here, check it close watch your bills and if you can run. This is just the start of my campaign to prevent others from being robbed by this guy.

If you are looking for a restoration shop find another because this show is sketchy and will take your money and destroy your dreams

This clowns idea of fitting fenders and destroying a paint job before he gave me my car, that was after his guys clipped all the wires to prevent the car from running. Joe Hinds is a modern day scam artist like Bernie Madoff, he is sure to take your parts and give them to others.

Sorry to hear that. The $$$$ sound ridiculous for what you have! Your build sounds like something that should have went to a high dollar shop with some serious reputation. V10 in an A sounds like serious work. Why can't you post pics?

So what ever became of Bdawg Muscle? I see this thread is over a year and 5 months old! Did this guy turn out to be a hot air balloon or what?

I see you posted some pics and it is an E-Body car. Still sorry you got took but it is still a serious type build that I would not take to someone that did not have a national reputation. Call Le Hodge he will do it right!

I have it back on track with a good shop in NY but really messed up. I just want others to be aware this guy will take them to the cleaners and has no business owning a shop. He has a history of ripping people off, it's just too bad I found out to late. I am going full on custom since I have to redo the car. Sad thing is I always paid and have money to spend. I picked up a real 69 charger RT that I am doing too. This guy would rather fast cash and thievery than building a business with repeat customers.
