Hello all. My name is Mike and I'm from Vancouver British Columbia Canada. I own a 1992 D150 with an LA magnum fuel injected 318 and am quite excited to start talking with others who have same truck or same engine. Right now truck sits 4/6 lower, all the little bolt on engine mods, custom drilled 20" Fuel rims and full custom exhaust and interior. once cowl hood goes on she will be ready for paint. Looking forward to hearing from the wise and I've got a few cosmetic decisions to make that I need help with. I look forward to your replies!

Awesome guys! Any D150's are few and far between up here in Canada. You'd think with all the farm land we'd have a ton floating around but the Chevys have ruled supreme for awhile. Mine turns a lot of heads just because a lot of the old school guys remember having 1 growing up in their family. Anybody know where I can find the two armrests for the inside door skins? Last thing I need to complete my interior.

hey welcome aboard, were over on Vancouver Island and have a few trucks in the family, all Mopars, currently my son has a pretty cool 80 Dodge short step and I am doing a 56 we like the a833 4 speeds, whats it got for a trans?

I have a 92 long box with air. Bought it new and still haven't hit 150 000 km. I use it for pulling the boat and seldom doing any work. Currently have to put new straps on the gas tank and a new lower control arm. sure like the old girl but don't know if I ever took any pictures of it lol. I upgraded the wheels because the steel road wheels were rusting behind the spokes and leaked. Dodge did nothing for me and for a set of rims they lost the sale on our next 5 company trucks. Can't say the stubbornness caused me any grief, but my boys have sure become Ford fans.

Hey Mopar56, I've got a 4 speed auto with overdrive (that's pretty much my knowledge of trannys) although 6 weeks after I bought it the tranny blew on it and I had it rebuilt. The guys in Langley asked if I had plans for the truck, I said yes and they rebuilt it supposedly to handle anything I could throw at it in the future.
Do you guys have any shows over on he island? I'm having a hard time meeting anyone with custom dodge trucks over here and wouldn't mind hitting a show or two this summer with other like minded Dodge truck owners. I have a long way to go till my trick is where I want her to be but in the meantime I'd like to hang out and learn.

Hey sorry I didn't return your earlier post, like Mike said above, we have some good shows, the Qualicum show is an absolute MUST but you must pre-register or you WONT get in, nice little town and all the downtown streets are blocked off for it, both my son's vehicles will be at it and of course because I spent most the winter helping getting there rides ready my 56 will still be in the shop, ):, the Sidney show, Courtenay and Campbell River are good ones to and set up the same way with streets shut down, let us know if you decide to attend, and we will swap some stories., and btw, you got a great trans there, we are currently running two with one more getting ready to go in the Duster in the future, lots of older 1/2 ton Mopar truck advise here if you need it to !

Good to know! I'll have to make it over. Do you know any other tricks I can do to a multi port fuel injected 318 without havin to reflash the computer?! (I hear that's more expensive then buying new parts) all the bolt on stuff is done but I want more without having to do a full rebuild. Any suggestions?!

sorry cant help you there Newmans, other than our daily driver new stuff in the driveway, we are pretty old school traditional, the truck pictured above currently has a mild 318 carbed and is in the process of getting a carbed 340, I like the carb stuff and btw, I just realized I missed something in your response above you said you had a 4 spd o/d auto, we use the 4 spd o/d stick and 4 spd non-overdrive stick, still sounds like you got a good rebuild there though, I am sure someone else here is more up on the fuel injected upgrades though, maybe try putting it in the fuel section of the forum, good luck

Thanks, I appreciate that and I'll try a fuel injected forum. Maybe I'll see ya this summer! I'll touch base with you if I can make time to make it over.
