Looks like the A+P is set up for a spread bore (TQ) but has the smaller ports for a 273/318, while the Stealth is set up for a square bore with ports for 340/360.
Which is the better 340 manifold?
Port the A+P or use an adapter on the Stealth?

The worthless port window consideration.... pssssstttt.... they are the same size. LOL

Just pick one and fu%$in go.

lol

You're the one wearin' crocs....LOL!

Damn skippy. Most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear.

Also, you ARE aware there are TWO Action Plus intakes right? A spread bore and square bore. The Stealth replaced the older Action Plus square bore, but they are still floatin around.

Learn sump'n every day.
But I still ain't wearing no Crocs.
Still trying to live down bell-bottoms.

Well hay, you can lead a horse to water and all that......suit yourself. I got some neon green ones too.

I ran a Stealth manifold, 1" 4 hole spacer and a 750cfm Edelbrock on my 70 Duster 360 and it ran very well. The 750 cfm Eddy isn't great for gas mileage but performance was excellent.

Boy, this thread has turned into a crock of sh....

But, pick what carb you are going to use, ie: spread bore or square bore, and get the manifold to match so it will directly bolt on without any adapters. Adapters are less efficient, so I try to avoid them...

No they're both crocs.

Ron Jeremy also likes crocs.... :D

I saw a reality show where he was wearing them and he made it all the way to the final round, then came in his 'grubbies' (t-shirt, and crocs). Then the girl chose the other guy for dressing "more appropriately".... :glasses7:

Well, looks like the manifold is a done deal. Bought the Eddy Air Gap RPM (used) cuz it was priced right and what my engine guy recommended. Whether the TQ will play nice remains to be seen. My Holley is direct bolt-on. And I can still always get an A+P if I feel the need...
