Black Paint Around Lancer Headlights?

Did the factory use gloss, semi-flat, or flat black paint between the chrome ribs on the flat, front grill extensions behind the headlights?

I still have some black but the years have taken their toll on the original color.

I've found paint codes in the back of the factory service manuals in the body section... They will even sometimes include the aftermarket paint code.
