Viper wheels on my '69 Dart

-
I understand the look would be polarizing to many. One of the biggest factors in my decision in getting the wheels is matching up the overall dimensions of my current set, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I still have my primary set of wheels--15" steelies and dogdish caps which I could never part with!

No rubbing during hard cornering either. I have a set of Hellwig sway bars that keep the car neutral

You know what it reminds me of? A Hot Wheel! Not in a bad way, although I think it would look a touch better if you went to a 20" wheel in the back and brought the rear down a little. I'm a guy who likes big wheels, but even those 22's are pushing it for me.

I like it, but it needs to be lower to pull it off. Especially in the back.

Drop the rear end a 1/2" to an 1" and you'll be in a whole different ballpark. I'd say drop the front about a 1/4" too, but I'm not sure you'll be able to do that with your fender clearance.

I agree. I believe that's what's giving it the "Hot Wheel" look.

Now your talking.
Redline dog dishes would be the cherry on top.
What size tires are you running with the 15's ?

Of course, who am I to talk, at least this guy has his car done and is out driving it.

What shade of Orange is that? It looks like a non-Mopar color. I think the wheels look pretty good. I think they would pop even more if your tail stripe was black.

i debated going this route, thanks now i think ill stick to 15x10 out back and 17s in front

The color is southern polyurethanes 2 stage red which is very close to viper red. I love their system, very forgiving to use and the clear buffs out real nice

275? spring relocated can take 295 50 15 and even up to 295 65 15... mine does..

Not sure if there are various ways to relocate springs but my spring hangers have been moved in adjacent to the frame rails which is probably about an inch or so. I don't see how 295s would fit as I slightly rub with weight in the back. Is that the way you moved in your springs?

Not my cup of tea......but if YOU like it, that's all that counts.

We gotts them reyhums, dawg!

They too big. Nawarlimsayin?

hell yup I kno wachha sayin bruh !!!

Lol

Actually, the overall dimension matches up to my set of 15s, so "itaintsobaddbruh"
Just mixing it up and challenging the status quo :) still love my steelies though.
