just wondering who is going to this show?

my daughter was invited to bring her 70 duster to the show, so we are going, I have never been to this show but have been told its a great indoor show with lots of cars . lots of media and magazine coverage too. should be a fun time for her, she is excited but nervous too.. I told her she will be just fine its only car people just like her. lol
I guess I was nervous to at age 18.

hope to see some members there.
 
Best cars under one roof, I've gone the last few years maybe around 400 cars, she will have to get the details on arrival and departure to get her car in and out.
 
I was invited to the 64 invitational last year with my 64 Valiant Rag Top.
It is a wonderful show with so many cars from all over the world its mind boggling.
If your daughters car is being judged all I can say is spend a week cleaning top to bottom
including the wheel well lips and inside the tail pipe exit.
I scored 987 out of 1000 to receive a Gold Class award.

we thought about the car being points judged, but she don't want it judged,she signed up for the Pick awards only. ladies award, 25 and younger award and a few other awards,
she has a nice car and she did a awesome job restoring it, I don't think the points judging really matters to her.

I've talked to a few people about getting in and out of the center, should be interesting..
 
I have been fortunate to be able to attend several times and cannot stop raving about the show .This show brings out some the best, rarest Muscle Cars and Corvettes ( I am an equal opportunity automotive enthusiast with a preference for Mopar) all under one roof , yes I said roof . This is an indoor event. It is a well laid out organized show, from every aspect .I have found the staff , judges , vendors , exhibitors, spectators to be extremely knowledgeable (which I'm not) , engaging ( which I'm not) , friendly ( which I'm not ) and genuine car guys/gals. Kudos to Bob Ashton and crew for putting on a great show. I am looking forward to this years show and will be attending with my 70 Dart Swinger.I am also looking forward to some of the best steaks at Gibson's across the street from the convention center.

hope she is that excited to clean the duster this weekend..lol

I have friends that will be at the AMD booth. They have a 71 Cuda 340 that has had just about every panel except the roof replaced. The customer wanted it restored. It is in the shell stage,AMD thought it would show their products well.
 
I went last year for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed. It's a great show. I'm going again this year. They are featuring the E-body Hemi 'verts this year and reportedly are going to have 27 or so of the 41 made at the show. Looking forward to seeing that collection!
