Efi Magnum Swap In Progress Early Plymouth

-
Sorry for the long delay on updates. Been one hell of a summer and didn't get much time to work on the Plaza. I have got a few things done since the last update. Bought a Champion radiator that was originally intended for a 54 Chevy car. The dimensions were exactly what I needed, and the hose inlet and outlet were perfectly located so I will be able to use the factory Dakota radiator hoses. Next was to modify the factory instrument cluster out of the Dakota to fit in the Plaza's dash. Took quite a bit of trimming and altering but damn, it really turned out beautiful. I will get pictures up tomorrow of the progress.

Today I hit up the Pomona in Arizona swap meet at the fairgrounds and picked up a front seat I was desperately needing. The seat that came in the car was not correct and didn't fit right. I also got a new inside mirror that mounts on the dash. These cars are pretty tough to find parts for! Thankfully the car is pretty complete. That's the main reason I bought it. That and the fact that the body is absolutely straight as an arrow and not rusty!

I love this build! I have never seen motor mounts like those before, very interesting how they did that. I have to say that the aluminum valve covers do not match the patina of the car like the original dirty ones did! lol Keep up the good work and keep us posted!

Cool swap! I love the magnum swaps, and fin cars! I'm glad I finally know what I'm looking for when it comes to engine mounts, my 59 didn't come with them..

Agreed.... The Magnum is the bridge between a all new built LA,& a newer overpriced Hemi swap. For a mild street machine or cruiser, hard to beat on a budget.

It's been a while since you gave us an update. I hope you didn't quit on this project.

Here is on that my friend and i are working on. 2004 Hemi instead of Magnum.

Will you do the same swap for me on my 59 Plymouth Belvedere? I have the engine and trans!

What sort of HP can you get from the 360 magnum using the factory intake and efi?
I have done a swap but went to carby as I didn't have all the bits. Will be doing another one soon and interested to keep it efi. I have 420RWHP currently so I imagine it would be in the high 500s at the fly wheel. Is this achievable with the factory manifold and ecu?
thanks
