Below is my girl Emma. Rescue dog, went to son then back to us when he did a hitch in China for MS. She is our black furry daughter and has had one knee fixed and scheduled to have the other one fixed the middle of January. She is her Mom's dog and I am just "food guy" but our family is complete with her as a member.

No I just took his picture & let him go in the woods. I found a whole nest of them this fall while digging through the old bottle dump on the property. Black & yellow tails dashing for cover everywhere! I covered the nest back up since the time for them to hibernate was near.
 
Here's Buddy..our 12 year old Lhasa Apso. Loves going for a ride or doing tricks for chicken. Thinks he is a big dog around others....very Alpha.

Mia --we rescued her 14 or 15 years ago. She would have nothing to do with us for the first 4 or 5 years. She had been declawed and does not allow anyone to touch her feet

This is Tasha, got her at 2 1/2 yrs old she's now 8. Loves going for a ride in a car and any and all attention she can get from me or the grandkids, she loves kids and is great with the 1 year old. Gentle as a lamb.

This is my shop cat. She is a stray that stayed. I've had her since 2008 or so. First pic she is taking up space on my desk, where she likes to sleep most afternoons..

Second pic she is pretending to ignore the rat she caught so it will run off and she can chase and catch it again...

I guess I will add our two furry friends from hell. The first is, "Killer", he is an orange tabby that weighs 16 lbs. He loves to hunt, eat, sleep and wake me up by scratching at the bedroom door at 5 am. The second is "Charlie", he is a Maine Coon that weighs in at about 20 lbs. Other than thinking he is Santa's gift to everybody, he likes to sleep, eat and hunt dogs. Some day that last one will get him in trouble. His canine teeth and claws are about a half inch longer than any cats I have ever seen. He is a real oddball. Good thing he loves his humans and keeps us around as pets.
