Call your chromer before you do any welding, usually they just want to fill the holes and do repairs themselves. i truthfully dont know if thats due to a special process, or if customers dont do the repairs clean enough to chrome over, but I have heard it several times. Guess it makes sense it has to be perfect, since you cant just use filler to get it straight as you would with body work.
