Ok I wanna put this magnum engine into this 82 d150. The less I have to do the better lol. It has a 318 and I know all the pulleys off it will fit on magnum with la cover. Can I just use the serpentine set up already on the magnum it has everything still on it. Will the power steering pump and alternator work meaning can use them for my application.

might have to get ps pressure hose built if fittings are different but I think an 82 has saginaw pump, right? One bolt on TQ will be off by 1/8". Like Tbone said, electric pump. Best bet is keep factory FI and get in tank pump then you will have sweet set up, multi port rules!
 
Also, if your running a carbed manifold with AC you will have to use a Edelbrock air gap for magnum engines. Something about the mounting for the AC with the serpentine belt setup doesn't line up or something. RustyRatRod knows. Ask him if your not sure. I'm not gonna use AC so I'm gonna use the knockoff crosswind.
 
Remember keep in mind that the 5.9 magnums are still externally balanced.
