can someone give me advice on a set of headers for a 70 swinger with a 340 ,with power steering, do I have to change to a mini starter or pull out steering column and torsion bar?

I have set of TTI headers in my duster, and they fit nice even with power steering. One tube on the driver side is removable to ease the installation. A regular starter fits, but it's much easier with a mini starter. ( get one for a Dakota pickup at your local auto parts store)

ive done hedmans on my demon, and hookers on 72 duster, hedmans were far easier to install and the hookers hang lower. but they tend to fit every car different, just my thoughts if you plan the cheaper route.

Just put the TTIs on my 1970 Swinger 340 with power steering and mini starter (picked it up at Amazon for 60 bucks).

I put Doug's on mine.No burnt plug wires, spark plugs are easy to get to,as are header bolts. No low pipes dragging on the ground, nice heavy gauge pipes/flanges.Steering linkage doesn't run thru them. They fit great w/power steering, didn't have to ding any of the pipes for clearance.I think they're a little cheaper than TTI,but probably don't flow as well as TTI's.
