Hello everyone,

I have a 1969 Fastback Barracuda 318ci and I just decoded the fender tag. When I did, everything checked out except V7X. The standard black accent stripes that '69's were equipped with. My car was repainted to the original F5 Medium Green Metallic some time before I got it last October. I've been trying like hell to locate a place that sells the V7 stripes, but I've had no luck today. Hopefully you folks can help!

I have attached a photo of my Barracuda, as well as two examples of the factory accent stripes.

Thank you,

Dillon Crow

Accent stripes were painted on by the factory. You can get some pin striping tape at an auto parts store if you don't want to hire a pin stripe painter. But, using tape stripes they may not be the exact width and you will be limited to the basic colors available.
If you hire someone to do the pin striping, I suggest you find some cars that have the correct accent stripes and take lots of photos and measurements.

You have to go to another country to find other accents...
