**This is my very last set of rebuilt disc brakes that i have in stock.**
Sold 5 sets this year to members here, and thru the Sacramento Craigslist.
They have been popular items for me to sell, but this pair is it.

What i have here is a complete, rebuilt Kelsey Hayes 4 piston, disc brake set up that is used on the 1965-72 A body Mopar cars, such as Duster, Dart, Demon, Valiant, and the 65-69 1st and 2nd generation early Barracuda's. It is my understanding that these Kelsey Hayes disc brakes were a dealer installed option starting on the 1965 Barracuda Formula S cars, then became a assembly line option sometime in 1965, and used in 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72.

And yes, these brakes will fit, work, on the 64 and earlier A body line of cars.

These are the 4 inch, small bolt pattern brakes, so you don't have to ask me that question.
That's what all the early A body cars were, disc, or drum, brakes.

I have spent a lot of time finding this equipment, taking the time to bust this stuff off a car out in the field, cleaning everything up, rebuilding the calipers, and finding and buying all the parts.
I came across this set of brakes at a local wrecking yard, on a plane Jane, nothing special, stripped down, 6 cylinder, 1969 Dodge Dart.
I DID NOT get these parts for free, or at any 25% off, 1/3rd off, or 50% off sales.
I paid full price for everything, and by the time i paid for all the parts, the "core charges" sales tax, and enviornmental fee (tax), I'm into this set $255.00 from the start.

This is what i do as a retired professional auto mechanic, on my own time, to keep me busy, and have something to do, during the day. I rebuild disc brake components, upper, and lower control arms for these old Mopar cars. Shop labor rates where I'm at are $120.00 + dollars an hour. If i charged you one quarter that rate it still would be low. I don't work for free, or go to the grocery store, or gas station, or pay my rent, without working to pay the bills. If you factor in what it took me to firstly buy these parts, cleaning them up, doing all the rebuilding, buying the new parts. You try it and see what rotors, brake pads and hoses, rebuild kits, pistons in the calipers, caliper hard lines, bearings, races, seals, and everything else, will cost you. I have already done all the hard, dirty work for you. I can guarantee you, if you purchased someone's junk for $250.00 or more you will be into them for lots of money that i have just described.

I have hours and hours of labor time invested in rebuilding, restoring, reconditioning, refurbishing, renewing, whatever "R" word we want to use here, doing these disc brake systems.

Here's what everything has cost me for the parts, and the shipping with the cost of the part, i had to pay to get each and every part, and or, the tax, if i purchased locally.

$255.00 My original purchase price.
$90.00 New Rotors
$36.00 Rebuild Kits
$60.00 Replacement Pistons that were needed
$35.00 New Rubber Flex Line Hoses
$35.00 Brake Pad Retainer Clips
$20.00 Brake Pads
$13.00 Paint
$41.00 Caliper Hose Brackets
$565.00 Total Invested in this Kelsey Hayes brake system, without marking up the parts prices.

You can see how expensive these old Kelsey Hayes, 4 piston, disc brake systems are to buy and rebuild in this day and age.

OK, Here's what you are getting with this set up. Newly rebuilt calipers, caliper pistons needed to be replaced with new, new brake pads, new hard brake lines on the calipers, new brake hoses on the calipers, pad hold down clips. New rotors. The hubs have all the bearings, and grease seals for the spindles. All the lug nuts, and studs are right hand threads.
Gravel shields, Spindles, with all the necessary mounting bolts are all there.
All the wheel studs are 7/16 RIGHT HAND THREAD.

What you will need to purchase at your local parts store is your own DISC Brake master cylinder for this set up, whether you buy a new one, or rebuilt one, is up to you. It will depend on if you plan on using these parts for power disc brakes, or just manual brake. Also you need to purchase new DISC brake lower ball joints if your car needs them as disc brake ball joints attach to the spindles using 9/16 inch bolts where drum brake car ball joints used 1/2 inch diameter mounting bolts. Or have a machine shop drill your existing Drum brake ball joints, out to 9/16, if they already are in good shape.

>>>>>>>> Now please read this about all the fine print about these parts. <<<<<<<

I expect that you know how to work on brake systems on your car if you purchase all these parts from me. You need to know how to install brakes, bleed brakes, maybe bend and flare a brake line or two, and know what the heck you are doing on a changeover such as this. You must have a working mechanical knowledge, knowing what your doing. These parts are being sold as is, even though they are rebuilt components. After all, these things are 40 + year old parts.

Once they leave here they are your's. No returns. I haven't had any complaints from my internet clients, that i sold rebuilt upper, and lower control arms, and various other style calipers for the old Mopars, and all the other brake set up's that i have sold to my customers. Everyone has been a happy camper.

>>>>>>>>Now please read this about shipping and my handling charges.<<<<<<<

These parts are very HEAVY. I plan on sending the parts out in two boxes. One box for the left side parts, one for the right. Be aware if these parts go all the way to East coast states from California, it costs up to $150.00 + to get these parts to you. Will need your zip code to give you a quote. I am not sending boxes of feathers out to you. I have no control over what the carriers want to charge to get these parts to your destination. I have already sold other sets of these disc brake parts in the past, so i know what it's been costing to send this stuff out to my buyers, after purchasing boxes for these parts, and the shipping.
I use FEDEX with insurance, and signature delivery, for everything that i send out to buyers. That's the carrier that i use, and how i do it, for continental United States shipping.

Selling everything at $895.00 plus the shipping to your zip code.
That's my price, no "offers" "trades for other parts" or services.
Send me an e mail pm message thru this forum, for any other information, questions.
Or, call me at.
Nine One Six, Eight Five Two, One Seven Five Eight.
During the evening time hours of 5:30 - 7:30 pm (Pacific Time)
If your a serious buyer, and will be spending this kind of money with me.

Payment will be by postal money order, or a cashiers check from your bank.
Your choice, whatever you want to do. I will leave that up to you.
Thank's a lot.
