Duster Chrome tip hangers

Can someone post up a picture of where the hangers for the chrome tips are supposed to be mounted? We are going to put some tips on my sons 70 Duster. I know they were only offered beginning in 71.

I guess there may be no pictures, I suppose I can figure it out. Here's another question. How far past the bumper should the chrome tips extend?

I was able to go out and look at the car. Since it's a 70, I wasn't sure if it would have the holes for the J nut. It does.

What tips are you using?
Factory or aftermarket?

They're a factory set that I found at a swap meet. I pulled out a micrometer and it looks like I can cut the ends of the tailpipe and these will slide on.

This is all in preparation for a set of Doug's headers over the winter.
