What back space for 15 x 10 cragar S/S wheels on 67 dart
On a mini-tubbed '67 295's would be a piece of cake. Inches of extra room, kind of a waste of a mini-tub.
I wouldn't run anything smaller than 325/50/15's if I was going to put in the work to do the mini-tub, shorten the axle and relocate the springs. There's a few DOT tires in that size, Mickey Thompson ET Street R's, Nitto NT 555 R's, M&H Racemasters etc. The Nitto's are probably going to be the best on the street, not sure they're the best for the track though. Only thing is you have to be careful with the front to rear spacing in the wheel opening, that's a 28" tall tire so you might have to cheat the axle backward a smidge for the best clearance.

Nitto 555's in 325
BrianT's car. Also, he's got 15x10's with a 3.5" backspace and the rear end narrowed 8" total (4" each side), so that gives a good idea of what you'd need to do with the rear axle. Look like BrianT has the location down perfect.
