I keep getting these ads for employment about 25 miles from home, not too far over all. But 2nd shift. Would be more money and in field I was in for many years.
so whats the issue? go get one of these jobs and deal with it until you get a better job... i have been driving 40 miles each way (80 mile round trip) for work 17 year now.. 2 weeks day shift 2 weeks nigh shift , 12 hour shifts, every other weekend off. it pays the bills and lets me play as i like. before that it was 12 years of midnight shift with only mondays and tuesdays off... gotta do what ya gotta do...
if i was out of work all together i'd work what i had to in order to pay the bills and take care of the family. multiple jobs, not so great shifts..etc...etc...
