Things have been super busy here with new contacts / finds but I wanted to mention some cool mail that came in on Friday as result of a purchase & a trade for stuff I had.

These fender tags are all from parted cars no longer with us, so they will add to the others on my shop walls, the overall count with these should put the new total in the 1,750ish range.

The invoices will be added to the 'found' section on HH as soon as time allows, they are from 1974 back. Adding them may happen over the winter, in what little free time I have right now I am trying to get the rest of this old house insulated before the cold season hits again.

I did check for Registry members cars, but no 'hits'. :-(

I've heard of some people going around and stealing fender tags at shows...
 
My car is missing it fender tag. I wish I could get it. It was quite the basket case when I got it, no build sheet either. Nice to see that there is some documentation on what was built out there.

QUESTION FOR YOU.
IN ALL THE STUFF YOU HAVE EVER LAID EYES ON , HAVE YOU EVER CAME ACROSS A VIN FROM 1970 TO 1974 SHOWING A "Z" AS THE 5TH DIGIT FOR THE ENGINE CODE ???
YOU HAVE PROBABLY SEEN MORE VINS THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET .
I know what the fsm's say amongst numerous other sources, but I want to know if you PERSONALLY have ever seen one.
