Please post or PM me information on any good salvage yards to go wander through near middle Tennessee? My step dad hot rod valiant is coming for a visit and we would love to do some looking around. I need to know before this weekend and any help would be great, seeing I am very new to this area as well.

Thank you

You should get on Facebook and ask Tony Defeo. He is near there and is a huge mopar guy. He'd know

kyles R/T is north of nashville, has about 80 mopars from early 60s to middle 70s, he lives in louisville ,ky,,,,but his cars are on his dads farm in summer shade ky.,about 1 to 2 hours north on 65

There s a place right by pigeon forge called bentons auto i believe. Super nice old fella, but he knows what he s got. And he s got a lot. Everything is hidden from plain site in the woods. Pretty cool experience. Worth talking to the man.

denton's on corner of 25w/139,,, or snyder rd,,, exit 407 off I81,, go by smokies stadium 3 mile to hwy 25w,, office on corner, large yard about 2 miles, old man will take you from office to yard

Any one have a number for the salvage yard by pigeon forge. Is it bentons or dentons

8659337370 , address is 2366 hwy 25w. new market, tennessee,,,,,,i misquoted on previous post , its exit 407 off I40 east of knoxville tn, open 8-5 mon thru fri,,,,and 8 to 12 on saturday, it was featured in a magazine called cars and parts in 2011,,, he has been in business 47 years, only crushing i saw when i visit is those large red oaks falling in storms are laying on some cars,,, only problem on buying parts ,he has so many cars stacked end to end if you want a motor or transmission, he cant move enough cars to get a lift to pull engine,

if you are coming from ohio ,take 75 south to corbin ky,take the 25e exit 29 south, just follow 25e signs all the way to I81, take 81 south 8 mile to I40 west, then to exit 407 off I40, take the ramp at that exit, turn right, smokies stadium will be on right, go about 3 mile, its a little county road, you will come to a stop at 25w,sitting at stop sign, look to left ,you will see dentons office and carport, its a red mobile home is his office, 25e at corbin to 81 at morristown tn is a bypass to stay out of knoxville and cuts about 70 miles off going into knox, its 4 lane all the way,,,,,,just a thought,i live on 25e at the ky/tn border, travel this every day
