Pretty much, that covers it, if You're using the larger spindle. For real, it doesn't matter what it is, if it's a tapered set of roller bearings I use the same technique for all of 'em.
I grab the nut from the side w/a 10" pair of channeloks and use a twisting motion to snug the nut down, give the hub&drum/rotor assy. a few spins to free the hydraulic
pressure that builds when the bearings 1st seat,(You did pack the bearings, right?), then give another twist while rotating the hub again until a firm twist won't move it.
If You're using a stamped retaining cap for the cotter key You should be able to get it lined up, & if not back the nut up a tick till You do. Castle-nuts sometimes makes You
choose, I go a tick tighter if it is definitely closer to lining up in that direction, if it is anywhere near close to 50/50, always back it off till You're in. You'll be fine.
