I need a grill for 66 Barracuda is there a difference between Valiant and Barracuda. I'm talking about the grill around the headlight. I know the center is different.

1966 barracuda is called the eggcrate grill has 1 inch squares, the 1966 valiant has same shape with horizontal bars going across. This is a barracuda grill for 66

The headlight bezels are the same

The headlight bezels are not the same! The Valiant bezel is slightly shallower and has a couple scalloped cuts along the inside edge where it sits against the fins of the grille, the Cuda bezel does not have this as it sits fully into the recess of the grille, and thus is also a little deeper!

Funny thing is, the bezels on my blue car are perfect in every way, like brand new, but they're Valiant bezels! I have nice, undented Barracuda ones to put on it, but they're not as nice!

As a matter of reference, Barracuda bezels don't fit on the valiant grille due to not having the scalloped out spot that lays directly on the Valiant grille!!

That is great..I did not know that the 66 had different grilles like the 64 and 65 models. I see far fewer 1966 models around.

It's to bad,as I was interested in a 66 Barracuda but no grill.

You can find a 66 grille on here, I believe the Cap'n just mentioned that he had one! You can always put the entire grille in from a Valiant until you found a Cuda one, I've done that before as well!! Here's a Cuda I sold not long ago with a Valiant grille installed!

Been thinking of selling my '66 Barracuda, Hemi Orange, 360 with a 5-speed, 8.75 rear, 3.23s, black interior, A/C, LD340 intake, forged 9-1, Thumpr cam kit etc. etc.
