OK, I may live between some of the healthiest programs in college athletics (UNC, Duke and NC State), but that's another discussion.

Who thinks their team will go farther in the NCAA tournament than the 6 Freshman and 2 Sophomores of the University of Kentucky Wildcats. They have got to be the youngest team in Division 1. Just babies!

Ok, may not even make the NCAA, but Illinois is playing a ton of young players. Of those either starting or playing almost half the game are 3 freshman, couple of sophmores, couple of juniors and a senior. 6 - 1 as of now. New coach, new offence at it's generic level, this team should see more improvement/growth over the next month than most teams considering. No where near a top 25 team, but ironically a top 25 team in a lot of categories, including offensive rebounds, points off of turnovers, free throw attempts, and few other stats.
A trip to the NCAA this year would be a treat :)

Good luck 318, you guys have had a couple of down years haven't you?

GO CATS!!! :D :D :D :D That said, Kentucky is gonna have to improve quite a bit over the year to go far in March.

Yeah, 5 years of John Groce kind of left the cupboards bare.... and haven't been in the NCAA tournament for 4 years is why he is gone.
New 1st year coach Brad Underwood has already got Illinois Mr. Basketball on the team now (one of the freshman), and has already signed what may be the top point guard in the country (he is a top 30 in the country on the big list for next year out of Chicago). I'd like to think things are looking up.... :)

As long as my SPARTANS stay healthy they should do good and hopefully draw a number one seed this year, the twisted ankle on Bridges was already a scare. Should be a great game tonight against #5 Notre Dame, I am looking forward to this season. My whole family went to MSU and I put both my kids through there also. GO GREEN!!!
