I've been busy , picked up a few different projects , but still check in time to time.

Been keeping busy with a '62 Chrysler Windsor, 361 & pushbutton 727. Lowered, Scarebird front disc conversion, amazing driver, absolutely love this car.

Traded my '74 Scamp for a '68 Polara 500 wagon. Been daily driving it, gets a ton of attention (too much). Super solid, was in a barn for 15 years. Put a set of discs on it from a '72 New Yorker, electronic ignition. Super reliable daily driver. With the back seat folded down I can fit 4x8' sheets of plywood in the back.

Also picked up a '66 Coronet 500, 383 auto. Originally bronze with black vinyl roof, black buckets/console. Someone converted to a 4 speed, then previous owner put an auto back in it. Pedals are still in it. 383 has a nasty cam, 11:1, Torker single plane intake, Holley 870, MSD dizzy/box, high stall in trans, street slicks, 4:11s.
Plan is to repaint black, black vinyl roof, A body discs up front.

Nice collection of Mopars! A&W, I remember my dad would take us from Buffalo across the border to Ft. Erie for A&W in the 70's. Thanks for bringing back some memories.

Wow ! Very nizze bunch of Mopars Mike, good to see you back sir, it has been awhile bud :)

You were gone ? hmm didn't notice . Hey Riddler do you ever talk to that gal in LaSalle with the yard full of Mopars ? She used to only want to sell them if you payed her to do the resto and they had a museum of sorts going there as well .

i see jokers like that on craigslist all the time
"asking 2000 for it, but price will go up as i keep tinkering with it"

Some nice rides there. Buddy had a 62 saratoga more door. Was a nice driver. My best friends first car was a 68 wagon, dad used it like a truck, hauling stacks of lumber out to the lake.
Still have a soft spot for the coronets, i had a 68.

Didn't expect anyone to notice, really just an excuse to show off what I'm working on.

Yes I know of her. They really love the pickup trucks right now. I see they sell 1 or 2 projects a year. Maybe they sell more parts.

I’ll go and see what they have once and a while.....

There’s another guy in Belle River that has a huge collection but won’t sell if he knows your alter it from stock..

Put together a Mopar club for the island , West Coast Mopars. I'm founder/president. We have 78 registered members so far, still climbing. Also host a car show - Mopar only - last Sunday in May, this year will be May 27. Last year we had about 100 Mopars show up, it was a great show.

Good to see you back, you've been a member here longer than most, and always positive in your contributions, preserving quite a few worthy old Mopars that were being neglected.

No, been home a while. Worked at Harmac (pulp mill in Nanaimo) on maintenance in the steam plant for a year, now working for a local company in town, just him and I. Nice to be home every night.
yeah the travel work money is nice when your getting set up in life but never under-estimate the value of sleeping in your own bed .

Hey, thanks. I think I joined in '06 I think. back then there were only a few hundred members or so.
Yeah, I never seem to find the nice ones, just the ones sitting neglected in a field.
