Someone told me that I will need to order a gasket from Clifford to run a slant six Clifford intake/ header because its a much thicker gasket???

However I heard from another source that a standard fel-pro intake/ exhaust gasket will work just fine ???

which one is true ??

Can I use an over the parts counter fel-pro gasket or do I need to order one from Clifford ??

I would recommend a premium gasket , and make sure that primary flange is straight. Sent Rusty Rod Rob , a P.M.... Good luck.., Rainy...

Rainy, The remflex gasket works very well. They are very thick. I have used 2 felpro gaskets together also.Works for me.

Yup, It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions. Fel-Pro = junk. Clifford = untrustworthy/overpriced.
