With a full manual VB, Do I need the TP linkage?
As I understand it there is no more kick down, correct?

Correct, but hang on to it in case You go back one day. They can be expensive to put together!

Depends...... valve bodies modified with a transgo tf3 still need either a tp linkage or tie the tp lever back. Problem is then your line pressure is always high.
Consult the manufacturer of the valve body or shift kit, do not just automatically leave the tp unhooked unless you want to be pulling the transmission again.
