I remember my 63 going much lower than this? But it has been 25 years. Lol.

Tires are 195/70/14, with 318/727 combo in the car.

Maybe it's an optical illusion?

Maybe it's the roller skates it's on?

you need to drive it to get the suspension to settle anytime you adjust the bars.

We jounced it pretty hard. Best we can do right now as the cars not driveable. But the lower control arm is 1/4" from the bumpstops regardless.
 
Unless you have beefier torsionbars and proper shocks, the bumpstops will hit the frame plenty of times during driving.
Also, more importantly, it can cause funny behavior in corners when a front wheel is limited in travel.

We're not planning on running the front end this low. This is an exercise in stance. It will have to go higher to align properly anyways.

It was more the case of me remembering "low" as being lower. Lol
