I have photographed the booklet Herb McCandless reads when he gives his tech talk , it is not copyrighted and is given freely as a handout . It contains several tech suggestions he believes important and worthwhile and I would like to post the photos here as a photo journal of sorts but figure I should get permission first and secondly direction on where to post the photos so a mod can then create a sticky .
 
He said in his talk to feel free to share this with everyone we know but I would think it is probably on you folks to confirm it with him rather than just accepting my word don't you think ? This is why I put this here first instead of just saying Herb said we should share this and posting the pics .
 
I wouldnt make it a sticky-- but if he says its ok we could put it up as a how to article.

Is there a requirement for a sticky? I mean is there a vote on it? Or is it just something that you personally feel is appropriate at the time and place?

No, no vote. If I and the mods think it really needs to be a sticky then we make it one. But that is a rarity. In general, I don't like stickys.

Yes it seems very arbitrary. As I feel and again that's just my opinion that some stickies are worthy "to me" and some not so much..
