can a holley blue pump can the pressure be turn down? new regulator from factory 3 lbs set at factory never change go to 3 then few seconds later goes to 10 ? this is with out motor running whats up ?
 
I believe the Holley blue pump comes with an adjustable fuel pressure valve. Seems odd it spikes to 10lbs. Float issue with the carb possibly? I'm running the Holley red pump it's pre-set at 6 lbs. 65'
 
Liquid filled gauge? I had one where it would fluctuate fron zero to 8 lbs. all while at idle. I think when warm the fluid expands throws them off. Drained it and its rock steady.
 
The Holley "blue" pump is not adjustable. It uses a fixed spring to regulate pressure. I once cut the spring down a couple coils at a time until I got it down to 7 psi Seemed to work OK on my 350 hp 360 other than the obnoxious noise it makes
