Hello. I'm a newb from Fort Worth, TX. I grew up in a Mopar house hearing lots of stories about my stepdad's Duster and Polara and his brother's AAR Cuda and the crazy times had with those cars. My first car was a 1964 Chrysler Newport back in 1996, so I love all Mopars and am most familiar with the bigger cars and big blocks.

Now that I'm nearing 40, I am wanting to get an older driver and the A bodies are the best fit for me right now. I don't have room for a land yacht nor the budget for a B-body. So, I'm here to learn more about these weird small bolt pattern cars and their spindly rear axles so that I can keep whatever I end up getting on the road for a long time.

I'll probably do a lot of lurking and searches of past threads. I know this site's been around for a long time, so there's a bunch of knowledge saved here.

Cheers,
Robert

welcome..... and not all these weird cars have small bolt patterns... LOL. Most will bolt the rims right off your '64 newport

I'm looking at a '68 Dart, so I believe it has the small bolt pattern and a 7-1/4" rear even though it has a 318-2bbl. I assume it's a 904 transmission as well. It's just a little different than I'm used to. :)

There, I gave you your first "like".... :)

Sounds like a nice car

Welcome to FABO, with a capital "A"!! We love all Mopars here, though.

If you end up pulling the trigger on the 68 Dart, post up some pictures.

Hey! Welcome to the site. I am down here in Midlo and I have a 62 Lancer Wagon with those small bolt pattern wheels. Some stuff shows up once in a while, plug in with the Cowtown Mopars to find a cool Mopar.

I ended up getting a 1964 Dart GT convertible with a slant six and push button auto (904?). The body is pretty solid and it looks like it was partially restored a few years ago.

Welcome to FABO and congrats on the 64 vert.

Lots of info to be found here and really nice people to talk with as well.
