Heater line part identification help

Thanks,
I zip tied it open, but got no heat. I noticed the heater hoses even before the valve weren't nearly as hot as the main radiator hose.
Thanks again for the help
Hello bisblue,
Sounds like the heater core is blocked up OR the valve is stuck closed and the shaft may just be spinning in the housing.
You can bypass the valve and see if it corrects the issue Or you can connect the hose from the water pump to the hose to the intake manifold (bypass the heater) and see if the hose gets as hot as the radiator hoses.
This way you will confirm the defective component.
Hope it is the valve cause the core stinks to replace. If you have to do the core but the heater box gasket kit and do it all in one shot.
Now I have a question.
Does the high pressure line and the low pressure line for the AC connect to differant sides of the condensor? (Drivers / Passanger) Or do they both connect to the passanger side?
A pix would help.
I am trying to correct my car and that would help me get the correct hoses / condenser.
Hope this helps.
Happy Mopar :)
