Just swap spindles from side to side and rear mount the calipers. That is what I did on my 69 Dart. Even with the early model sway bar your calipers will hit the sway bar when you turn sharp if you front mount them.

I did the same & put the calipers facing rearward.

That’s the easier way to do it, no modifications to the end links and less chance of any interference.

It does take longer brake hoses though. That’s really the only downside, the routing isn’t quite as clean.
