MOPAR or no car
I'm thinking about a small adjustable aluminium spoiler. About 4 or 5 inches. Any opinions on how this looks? I'm going for the Pro Touring and Autocross look.
If done in autocross style, the spoiler would look better with a more aggressive or defined splitter/spoiler in the front too. In the first pics, not so much, in the last pics, yes looks good
If I did do it I would most likely use nutserts to attach it or some sort of nutplate on the inside of the trunk to keep it super clean.
No, I haven't messed with it lately. I have been dialing in everything else. Drove it about 40mi the other day with it screaming at me running 2800ish RPM at 50MPH (3.73 gears). Weird thing is is it runs very cold around 160 to 170 on both gauges.
My opinion: I love it.
A purposeful, clean, functional spoiler (preferably painted flat black), could be just amazing on there.
My only concern may be related to @Rainy Day Auto 's comment where your car looks too nice to be permanently mutilated with add-ons that you might change your mind about years down the road...so (again, IMO) a reversible attachment method would make it even more interesting. Then again, it's your car and it looks like you've done a nice job with the mods you have going on so far
Well now you have me thinking about how I might do something like this on my Dart. I never completely loved the Direct Connection style ducktail and I couldn't make myself drill through my trunk lid to put one on anyway....so this style really is appealing.
I have a similar looking aluminum piece on my Mustang GT made by RTR and it works. The pic isn't my car but same spoiler (I have those wheels too)...so you get the idea.
