Testing the waters on our 74 Swinger. Slant6, KB5 originally, one repaint in a lighter color. Blue interior but previous owner dyed part of it black. Had lots of work done to it - see list below. Nicely optioned, ps, manual brakes, light package, 3 speed wiper, fender turn signals, rocker molding (missing). Vinyl top removed many years ago (believe I have the trim for it).
-Motor and trans swapped from another dart, cylinder head re-done. Was told motor only had about 80k on it.
W/in the last 2-3 years:
New brakes - (was switched from drum to BBP disk and drum 7.25 rear)
New rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, all front brake lines and hoses.
New upper ball joints and bushings.
Rear lines on axle and soft line, new wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware, drums turned.
Wheels are nicely powder coated and have like new hankook tires.
New belts and hoses, windshield and firewall gaskets, heater hoses
New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump
New exhaust donut.
New front shocks
New fuel tank and sending unit
body is decent, frame is real clean, drivers floor pan has a small patch, passenger front replaced with an aftermarket panel and back drivers replaced with flat metal, but formed and welded nicely. Doors are nice, fenders good (one small spot on engine bay on drivers side near the support bracket). Only panel not original is the passenger front fender.
Needs: trunk pan, and left extension and some minor lower quarter panel work. Some rust in back window corners but not too bad (can see from inside trunk). Needs some carb work. Need rear shocks and springs (or shocks with helper springs). May need a light switch (interior lights not working on gauge cluster). Needs some love on the interior. Have a new black carpet that I may include for full price offer (was in car briefly).
Cool car, have the fender tag and partial build sheet. Asking $4000 with rallyes, $3600 with plain steel wheels and old tires. Clear title.
