Hi, has anybody ever tried to put a 65 hood on a 64 dart and been successful in lining everything up? They look like it could be done, and then you have a better palette for hood scoops.

Not even a little bit close. You can swap the entire front clip (fenders, hood, valence, bumper) as an assembly from and to any '63-'66 A-body and everything will line up with the rest of the car, but not individual pieces.
Well that's too bad. I really like the grill on the 64 but I like the hood from a 65.
Why? The '64 hood looks way better - you could argue the '63 has a better grill
Just thinking that a 65 hood has better placement for small hood scoops.
