Have to prime to start

-
1920 Carb has always had to be primed to start, even after a carb rebuild.

Yes it is tight. A local old time mechanic told me to just exchange the carb for another, he can't figure it out either.
Was it the douchebag that rebuilt your carb?

I took apart the carb and found that the shop that had rebuilt it neglected to re-install a check ball. problem solved, now I can reach in the window and turn the key. INSTANT START!!
So, whoever rebuilt your carb doesn't know their *** from a hole in the wall? Did you let them know of their screwup?

It was the clown I purchased the dart from. He had the motor/trans done by a pro but he did the carb etc. on his own. I had to chase down a lot of gremlins but the car is pretty sweet for what I paid.
