I’m only doing this as a courtesy because I believe what this man did is not only wrong but complete bullshit. I only met this man very briefly to buy door panel parts for my scamp. I was able to purchase all four panels from him which he shipped out with no problem. It is been a few days since I have spoken to the man as we just had a online deal. I posted a few items of my own for sale in which I got several responses from. Typically when you deal with people on Facebook marketplace there are usually several jackasses who will say rude things or try to tell you how your items are worth anything because somehow you should sell it to them for that price.
I was contacted by this man who I did not recognize and the first thing he said was basically “hey jackass” I can’t see the carburetor, you’re never going to sell anything like that I know how to sell and this is how you do it. Given I did understand that there was a carb filter on top of the carburetor and it was in the sun so it made it a little hard to see. So I simply told him in a joking manner that it’s a 500 CM Edelbrock and if you look up the image you will see what it looks like.
I even added a smiley face and a little LOL.
Instantly he insulted me told me that I was never going to sell anything with that attitude and that’s exactly why he moved to the Midwest to get away from assholes in California. So the old school gangster in me and said “oh ******* really?
So I said something back to him and his return answer was “do you know who I am? “I will make sure no Parts ever come to you to California. And I said “really are use the Jesus of auto parts and you are going to tell everybody in all of America not to sell parts to me? Yes I was a little bit of a smart *** but I still didn’t realize who the guy was and he was completely off-base.
Sometimes dealing with Mopar people is like being in high school again. Long story short he canceled my part order and kept my money.
Please re-share this to all the Mopar sites do not do business with this man. I am sorry to have to report this as I usually don’t care about childish **** like this but when you take people’s parts they already paid for, that is just wrong and we already had made a deal regardless of whatever transpired after that deal. You don’t take your **** back like a little *****. And even after I realized who he was and had basically apologized for being a smart *** he continued. Sad day. I woke up this morning at 4 AM after I had worked all day the day before preparing for a swap meet then I sat in the sun in California all day to come home to this bullshit.
