when I get back, that's the first thing to check. tank is isolated.....so its probably the ground as you say.......

I couldn't find the proper ground strap once upon a time, so I used a piece of stranded copper wire and 2 small hose clamps to bridge the rubber hose between the sending unit and fuel line. If you used new fuel line up the body to the front, make sure it is grounded to the body somewhere along the way. I used the clamps with the rubber grommets in them once, and it took me a while to figure out that I'd isolated the fuel line! :BangHead:
