5th wheel stuff for late Rams

Got back from Carlisle and learned our 5th wheel Montana sold. The new owners did not seem to care about all the extras I had to offer. They paid and hauled it off.

I now have a pretty new B&W base for 2015 up Ram with pre-prep and 5th wheel top. Also a turn over ball base and the same 5th wheel head plate to get rid off. Also a new wheel and tire 8 lug, need to check the size. They left some stuff on the plate. New Cover for a 38’ 5ver and much more.

B&W is good stuff! I kept my B&W Companion hitch, even though we sold our 5th wheel years ago. I bought it cheap enough off of Craigslist that I don’t mind it sitting there collecting dust!

After reading this I may hold on to it. Bad thing is I have two bases to hold on to. My older brothers were over and assisted in pulling the late model prep base and top plate. We stuffed it in the Car trailer for now. Damn that base is heavy. I could pop the head and old turn over ball base myself with the old truck!

Least my 8’ bed in the Dually is wide open now!

B&W is the cats meow when it comes to 5ver hitches. No noise or chucking. Easy load and unload.
both my trucks were 8ft beds. Unloading was the best. Just unlock the chuck and raise the rig and auto release just happens. Very good product.
