1978 Warlock 4x4 383 bigblock posting for a friend comes with extra transfercase I just popped of the driverside rocker to check casting numbers and the inside was completely clean motor appears to have been gone through has cal custom finned valve covers with edlebrock intake and carb and also long tube headers accel plugs with aftermarket wires he said he'd like to get $5-6,000 but the price is negotiable
He wants to move the truck so all the offers are going by him if interested let me know

Big block transmission in the back , you get the transmission and tranfercase as extras with the truck

Do you have a picture of the VIN number or anything that proves it's an actual Warlock?
 
All these pictures it would be really simple just to take one of the vin and put this all to rest...

The first 2 pictures in post number 2 pretty much prove it is a Warlock also. If they are original doors for the truck.
As for the motor, 383s stopped in 71 I believe.
Now if the fender or radiator plate is still there get the code from it and run it for the options. The vin number will tell you what engine it came with.

truck VINs are a lot different than car VINs

I've even heard some truck guys say they're not easy to decipher

what position on a truck VIN is the J in that denotes a 360-4 engine?
